Colour oriented paintings, painterly and abstract, which are concerned with the creation of energy fields that are subject to disruptions. Through assimilation these energy fields extend the colour relationships and intensify the dynamics within the paintings. Much of the artist’s stimulus comes from nature: the cycles of change and renewal that are to be observed in farmland in his part of Hertfordshire.
