Chris Barnes

Initially Chris became interested in ceramics because of his father's interest. Chris originally trained as a sculptor at St Martins School of Art. Chris considers the idea that applied art was just that, art applied in everyday life and not a mutation of second hand ideas homogenised for mass production.

Years on , Chris is still excited about making and designing his colourful and fine ceramics.

Chris works at the Chocolate Factory in Stoke Newington, London.
