Charlotte Jones

Influenced by her family life and the surrounding Cornish landscape, Charlotte makes families of pots where the shape size and individual marks relate to each other. The vessels also relate to particular places, times and seasons. Local clays are used and small quantities of very individual clays searched out for decoration. The surfaces of the work are repeatedly scraped to give the appearance of time-weathered rocks.
