We are delighted to represent the work of Manchester based painter Paul Morin in Cornwall. Born in Jersey in 1966 he gained a BA (Fine Art) from Manchester Polytechnic and in 2001 received a distinction for his MA in Fine Art from Liverpool University.

He has recently been working on a series of small paintings which draws loosely on personal memories and observations of island life and growing up near the sea. "through colour and speed of mark i explore the idea of capturing the fagility of a single moment. I stop working when i feel that some quality of light, mood or atmosphere has stated itself strongly within the work; a point at which the painting can exist on its own terms" Paul Morin 2008
