Artist statement

In my work I examine then re-assemble a disordered and absurd version of this place. I avoid any single position, using intentional inconsistencies that never aim at reaching any form of conclusion.
I construct then paint houses and objects. These useless homes are disjointed, inside out, or broken and half built. The objects are made and inspired by random printed matter, materials and packaging of products long gone. I also build from small paintings, fragments from another life, their meanings lost and irrelevant. These objects arranged together create their own environment, a disconnected comedy of life.
