Hornpipe Cottage is a 200 year old traditionally built stone building. Set in a peaceful area of old Penryn.


Named by the Master Mariner who was the first private owner. Light, airy and surpisingly spacious Horpipe has been tastefully restored, preserving many of its original features, including its beams & granite fireplaces. Owned by a contemporary Cornish artist the cottage is decorated with many works of art.


Penryn is an ancient medieval town, located 2 miles from the larger town of Falmouth. Built on the river it is a centre for sailing and boating. The town itself has all local conveniences and many jolly pubs! With a large supermarket 1 mile away.
The beaches are just a short distance. (5-mins. drive) An ideal location for exploring Cornwall. With lots to do in the area including, Trebah, & Glendurgan gardens, The National Martine Museum or Eden project.
