The main town beach is Gylingvase Beach, Cliff Road
Awarded the Blue Flag in 2005, Gylinvase Beach is a typical family resort beach set on Cornwall’s south coast and warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. It is a deep, long sandy stretch of coastline on the bay side of the town and attracts both residents and visitors year round. Set just off the main link road which leads to the Castle headland, the beach with its raised promenade, offers breathtaking views across the bay.The beach and immediate area offer excellent facilities for all the family, including disabled visitors.
